Hello, my name is Racquel Requena. Words have been a lifelong fascination of mine—the lyrics of a song, the words in a book, letters, and postcards. As a child, I looked forward to opening a new book and reading it over and over. Reading was a time of exploration for me. Each book I read sparked my curiosity and excitement about learning new things and the world around me. And then, I wanted to write about everything I learned! To this day, I turn the pages of a new book with the same excitement and curiosity I  had as a child, reading it many times!
